| Practice taking a few pictures.
Get a camera with a timer, and get free photo editing software,
like paint net.
When you are framing the picture of you,
make sure that you clean up the room or area, in which you are
taking the photo. Nothing looks worse than a clutter of unfolded
laundry on a bed, or floor. If you take a phot of yourself beside
your computer, then clean up your desk. No used food containers,
messy papers.
Dress nice. If you take photos of yourself
in your undies, make sure they are clean, and girls, make sure
that they are matching.
Be prepared to take a number of extra
photos, before you select the best ones.
Delete the photos from your computer, if you
have a shared computer!

face. In particular, your smile. In fact if you have a nice smile,
and a kind face, the prospective dates are going to be much less

| Choose your lighting carefully.
Different people, look different and better/worse in different
lighting conditions. Experiment a little. Cameras and flash bulbs
also make you look better/worse. You may find that turning off the
flash, for the camera, results in a better picture. Remember take
a multiple of shots. Get a photo editor, and blank out your face,
for publicly posted photos. Once you are "safe" within
your profile page, then you can have your face picture. |
